Education for Social Responsibility
Education for Social Responsibility (ESR) goes beyond academic achievement and focuses on developing students' values, attitudes, and skills to become active and engaged citizens. It encourages students to explore a wide range of societal challenges, such as climate change, ethical trade, ecosystems, sustainable development goals, and corporate social responsibility. Most importantly, Education for Social Responsibility empowers students to take action and address social issues, contributing to the overall well-being of society.
Objectives
The Education for Social Responsibility SIG is dedicated to providing a collaborative platform for educators. We aim to facilitate the sharing of best practices and the development of innovative strategies related to the integration of social responsibility principles in education.
