Wherever You Go, Something Will Be Right There Waiting For You To Learn: Experience Sharing On Location-Based Learning

With the aid of various positioning technology, students are able to learn effectively wherever they are using their mobile devices.

 

In this workshop, Dr. Chun-Ho LIU from the University of Hong Kong and Dr. Charles WONG from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University will share their experience in using indoor location-based learning with iBeacon technology. Dr. Frankie WONG from the Chinese University of Hong Kong will share his experience in using uReplyGo application for outdoor location-based learning in Thailand field studies. Dr. Simon WONG from the Hong Kong Baptist University will talk about the ethics of privacy in location-based learning.
