With the aid of various positioning technology, students are able to learn effectively wherever they are using their mobile devices.
In this workshop, Dr. Chun-Ho LIU from the University of Hong Kong and Dr. Charles WONG from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University will share their experience in using indoor location-based learning with iBeacon technology. Dr. Frankie WONG from the Chinese University of Hong Kong will share his experience in using uReplyGo application for outdoor location-based learning in Thailand field studies. Dr. Simon WONG from the Hong Kong Baptist University will talk about the ethics of privacy in location-based learning.

Description
Join colleagues from PolyU and CUHK as we take a collaborative look at Hybrid Teaching & Learning. In the workshop we will consider the basic of Hybrid pedagogy and look at steps taken by both universities to enable their teaching and learning spaces to deliver hybrid education. We will look at how to achieve interactions in a hybrid classroom and hear from frontline teachers in both institutions as they share their experiences of teaching in hybrid mode.
